These Terms govern access to the Empire SMP website and Minecraft server. By using either service, you agree to these terms and the server rules.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You need a valid Minecraft account and must follow the terms that apply to Minecraft and your account platform. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping it secure.
2. Community conduct
You must follow all rules shown on the website, in-game, or in official community spaces. You may not cheat, exploit bugs, evade enforcement, harass others, share harmful or unlawful content, threaten the server, impersonate staff, or interfere with other players’ access.
3. Moderation
Moderators may investigate activity and issue warnings, mutes, removals, suspensions, bans, or other reasonable restrictions. Enforcement may consider severity, history, context, and community safety.
4. Player content and builds
You retain rights you have in original content you create. By placing builds, messages, or other content on Empire SMP, you give us permission to host, display, copy, and use it as reasonably needed to operate, moderate, back up, and promote the server.
5. Availability and world changes
The server is provided on an “as available” basis. We may perform maintenance, change features, reset or restore world data, correct exploits, or discontinue the service. We cannot promise uninterrupted access or that player data will never be lost.
6. No purchases
Empire SMP currently has no store and offers no paid gameplay advantages. If that changes, these terms and any required purchase terms must be updated before payments are accepted.
7. Disclaimer and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the website and server are provided without warranties. Empire SMP and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss. Nothing limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.
8. Privacy
Our handling of information is described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Changes and termination
We may update these terms or stop providing any part of the service. Continuing to use Empire SMP after updated terms take effect means you accept them.
